Simply Charmed Greek is excited to announce our luxury sorority retreat themed “ For The Culture.” Immerse yourself in the Deep Roots of Ghana. And we are calling the members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.; Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. ; and Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.

Discover Ghana through its stories, its people, and its heartbeat. This retreat is more than a trip — it’s a cultural immersion experience designed to connect you to the land, its history, and its living traditions.

From the bustling streets of Accra to the powerful shores of Cape Coast, every moment of this journey is intentional. You’ll learn, celebrate, reflect, and connect with the culture in a way that goes far beyond sightseeing.

Dates: November 26- December 2, 2030

🕊 Day 1: Historical City Tour & Drumming Lessons
Begin your journey in Accra with a guided city tour that reveals the soul of Ghana — from its historic landmarks to its modern energy. Then, feel the rhythm of the culture come alive during a traditional drumming lesson led by local percussionists.

🍽 Day 2: Cooking Class + Naming Ceremony Experience
Step into the heart of Ghanaian tradition with a hands-on cooking class where you’ll prepare beloved local dishes. Then, take part in a traditional naming ceremony — a beautiful cultural ritual that celebrates identity and belonging.

🤝 Day 3: Volunteer Day & Market Tour
Give back to the community through a meaningful volunteer experience, then explore Accra’s bustling markets. Meet local artisans, discover handcrafted treasures, and feel the pulse of everyday life.

🏛 Day 4: Cape Coast & Door of No Return
Travel to Cape Coast for a powerful and emotional journey through history. Visit the Door of No Return — a moment of reflection and connection to the past. End the evening with a Girls’ Night In, sharing stories, laughter, and sisterhood.

🏖 Day 5: Alora Beach Club
Relax and recharge at Alora Beach Club. Enjoy the ocean breeze, good music, and time to simply be present.

✈️ Day 6: Departure
Say farewell to Ghana carrying with you the warmth of its people, the power of its history, and unforgettable memories.

Additional Trip Notes :

• Occupancy: All package rates are based on single double occupancy. Double occupancy includes two sorority travelers sharing a room

• If preferring to have your own room, you can opt for single occupancy at an additional cost. Please contact info@simplycharmedgreek.com

• Flight: Flights are not included in the package cost and must be arranged individually by travelers. A complimentary service for flight search to all our travelers will be provided upon request.

• Deposit: To secure your spot on this unforgettable adventure, a deposit of $258 per person is required to confirm your reservation, and the remaining balance to be paid in monthly installments from the dates outlined.

• Health and Safety: Your well-being is our priority, and we will adhere to all necessary health and safety guidelines during the trip. We recommend participants to have travel insurance that covers medical emergencies and trip cancellations (recommendations to be provided after sign up).

• Cancellation Policy: All payments are non-refundable however transferrable to other trips at latest 12 weeks before travel.
